In short:
- Lumi Scraper is sold by Lumifine Media And Tech Solutions.
- The free plan includes everything in your browser and 100 pages a month on our server. Lumi Pro gives 1,000 pages a month for ₹49 a month or ₹499 a year, paid once: it doesn't renew by itself.
- You can ask for a refund within 7 days of a payment, with a valid reason.
- You're responsible for what you scrape and how you use it.
1. Who we are
Lumi Scraper is sold by Lumifine Media And Tech Solutions ("Lumifine", "we", "us"), a business founded by Arkadeep Chakraborty and registered in India as an MSME (Udyam), of Rajpur, Kolkata 700149, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. You can reach us at support@lumifine.co. By installing or using Lumi Scraper, or by buying a plan, you accept these terms.
2. What Lumi Scraper is
Lumi Scraper is a Chrome extension that turns lists, tables and pages you choose into spreadsheets and other files. It works with Lumi Engine, which runs on our server and reads whole websites, many pages at once and job posts for you, so your computer stays free. You install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
3. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old. If you use Lumi Scraper for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
4. Your account
The first time you use our server, Lumi Scraper connects your browser to it by itself and gives that browser its own account on the free plan. To buy a plan, you sign in with Google: the plan then belongs to that Google account and works in every browser where you sign in with it. Keep your Google account secure; what's done in your account is your responsibility.
5. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | Everything that runs in your browser, and 100 pages a month on our server: whole websites, bulk pages and details, and the Job Scraper. |
| Lumi Pro | ₹49 for a month, or ₹499 for a year | The same, with 1,000 pages a month on our server. |
Each page our server reads for you counts as one page; in the Job Scraper, each job post counts as one page. Lumi Pro's count starts again every month on the day you bought it, and the free plan's on the first day of each month, India time. When a month's pages are used up, server jobs pause until the count starts again, or until you buy a plan. Prices are in Indian rupees and are final: nothing is added at checkout.
6. Paying
Plans are paid in Lumi Scraper (Settings → Plans) on a payment page run by Cashfree Payments, by UPI, card or the other methods Cashfree offers. We never see your card or UPI details. Your plan turns on as soon as Cashfree confirms the payment.
- A payment buys a fixed time: a month (30 days) or a year (365 days). It doesn't renew by itself and you're never charged again unless you pay again.
- Paying again for the same plan before it ends adds the new time to what's left.
- Before it ends: Lumi Scraper reminds you 3 days before your plan ends. When it ends, your account moves to the free plan; what you've scraped in your browser stays there.
7. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 7 days of a payment, with a valid reason, such as a payment made by mistake or charged twice. Our Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how.
8. Using it responsibly
What you scrape, and what you do with it, is your responsibility. You must follow the law and our Terms of Use, including copyright law, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the laws of the countries whose websites and people are involved. You must not:
- solve or get around CAPTCHAs or other bot checks;
- scrape behind someone else's login, paywall or access control, or use someone else's account;
- send so many requests that a website slows down or fails, or scrape a site after its owner has asked you to stop;
- collect personal data without a lawful reason, or use it to spam, harass or profile people;
- publish or sell copyrighted content you scraped as if it were yours;
- use our server to reach private networks, attack websites, or get around your plan's limits.
You choose whether a job follows a website's robots.txt. If you turn that off, you take responsibility for the choice.
9. Your data
Your results are yours. What you scrape in your browser stays in your browser. Jobs you run on our server are stored there so they can run; their results are locked so that only your browser can open them, and they're deleted after 30 days, or sooner if you choose. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full, including the few cases where the server has to read results to do its job. If your results contain other people's personal data, you decide why and how it's used, and you're responsible for having a lawful reason.
10. Support payments
You can also support Lumi Scraper's development with a voluntary, one-time payment of an amount you choose, on a payment page run by Cashfree Payments. A support payment is not a donation to a charity, isn't tax-deductible, and doesn't buy a plan, features or priority help. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
11. Our software
Lumi Scraper, its code, design, name and icon belong to Arkadeep Chakraborty. You may use it for your own or your organisation's purposes. You may not copy, modify, resell or share it, reverse engineer it (except where the law allows this despite these terms), get around its limits or licence checks, or use it to build a competing product. Lumi Scraper includes open-source software under its own licences, listed in the credits below.
12. No guarantees
We build Lumi Scraper with care, but websites change constantly, so we can't promise that every site can be read or that results are always complete or accurate, and our server can be briefly unavailable. Except for rights the law gives you that can't be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Lumi Scraper is provided "as is".
13. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or business, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Lumi Scraper. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
14. Ending
You can stop using Lumi Scraper at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.
15. Changes
We may update these terms, our plans and our prices. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll announce important changes on this website before they apply.
16. Law, complaints and grievance officer
These terms are governed by the laws of India. For any complaint, write to our grievance officer, Arkadeep Chakraborty, at support@lumifine.co. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
